Born in the Czech Republic and raised in Vancouver BC, I found my way to photography after walking many creative paths, first as ballerina & contemporary dancer, then a yoga teacher, then writer & journalist. I landed in ELLE Canada's beauty department before taking my first photography job in 2012. Since then my work has become an extension of my purpose, to highlight the beauty and magic of the ordinary in our every day lives. I call on my life path and all it has given me; an appreciation of travel, a deep love of art, connection, movement and storytelling, in my practice as a photographer today.

My work is inspired by exploring and celebrating the nuances of connection; to one another, our environment, the objects that fill our lives or the food and culture we experience. I've been fortunate to see my work featured in print publications which include ELLE Canada, Martha Stewart Weddings, Toronto Life, The Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, Foodism as well as numerous online publications such as the Coveteur.
My most recent client work included capturing Barack Obama and has taken me around the world to Colombia, France, Spain, Greece, Mexico, Denmark and throughout the United States and even Canada's arctic.
